At The Gillford Centre, we are proud to offer a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every young person is given the opportunity to succeed—regardless of their previous experiences in education. As a Pupil Referral Unit, we work with pupils who may have faced barriers in mainstream settings, helping them to re-engage with learning, rebuild confidence, and begin a new chapter with the support and care they deserve.

Our approach is centred around relationships. We believe that with trust, consistency, and the right support in place, all pupils can thrive. Whether a young person is with us for a short time or a longer stay, we aim to make a lasting difference—not only academically, but socially and emotionally too.

At School 180, part of The Gillford Centre, we offer specialist provision for those requiring a more bespoke, therapeutic, and structured setting. Together, our team works across both sites with a shared vision: to offer a second chance and a sense of belonging to every pupil who walks through our doors.

We are incredibly proud of the progress our pupils make—not just in their learning, but in their confidence, their behaviour, and their outlook on life. Every small step forward is celebrated, and every pupil is supported to realise their potential and move on to a positive future.
